Once back from Utah we only had four weeks left until Daddy would return from his deployment. Two of those weeks Grandma Dhreen was here. Being able to break the time up into different chunks definitely made it pass faster. So much better than "beginning, middle, end."
A couple days after getting home Kate lost another tooth. She pulled it out herself. One minute her tooth was loose, then she went off to play, and then all of a sudden it was out. This girl and her teeth... or lack thereof. Oh man.
Enjoying Sunday dessert.
Jared and Kristen came over for dinner, dessert, and games. The girls enjoy the games the most.
We went to Tiger Point Park and enjoyed the beautiful Florida "winter" weather.
Kate is such a sweet big sister. She loves to make her sisters happy. This day that meant pushing Ellie on the swing until she wanted to get off.
Ellie's "after nap cuddle time". And a game of Uno. Ellie's poor little lip was cracked for quite a while due to it being rather dry out. At least for us Floridians. It didn't help that we had just come back from the Utah desert.
Group selfies for Daddy.
This is Daddy's second birthday he has been gone for. We celebrate him anyways because we just love him SO much. The girls sang for him and then blew out the candles which Ellie was super eager and happy to help blow out. Happy Birthday Daddy!
Getting a little more use out of our annual zoo passes.
It had been a while since we had been to the zoo. It takes a little time for the girls to get use to the parakeets swarming them again even though they beg to go into the parakeet cove every time we visit the zoo.
This time it took Abby the longest to be okay with them all up in her space.
She was okay with them after a little while.
With some much needed encouragement from my momma, I decided to FINALLY reupholster our dinning room chairs. We've had them since we moved to Florida and bought them with the intention of redoing them. The two on the right are what we have lived with for the past two years. The chair on the left is what all of our chairs now look like. SO much better. I don't know why it took me so long to finally get the project done.
Visiting the beach. It was too cold to get in the water so no swim suits were needed. It's "never" too cold to play in the sand though!
On our way to drop Grandma off at the airport we stopped at PetLand in Pensacola. One of my favorite places to go because who doesn't love to play with puppies!? This little shih tzu was adorable.
We grabbed lunch at Chic Fil A afterwards and then it was onto the airport.
Oh my heart. How adorable is she?
Only two more weeks to go until our favorite man is home! Kate was excited that she could blow up this balloon by herself and get it to be so huge! She requested me to take a picture so we could send it to Dad.
And then the other two jumped in for a picture too.
24 weeks along
Another visit to the beach. This time we went to the sound side on base.
The girls like lounging in the chairs there. Can't blame them because so do I!
Baking some yummy chocolate chip cookies and waiting patiently for them to be done.
Ellie enjoyed the cookies but loved playing with her sisters more. She was a fit of giggles as Abby and Kate teased her while kinda eating her cookie.
