Family visits
We have been blessed to have lots of our family visit us these past 8 weeks. It all started when Ellie was born and we just said bye to Aunt Rachel. Our next scheduled visitor is not until the end of November. It will be different not sharing our house with someone for a couple months.
Update on Ellie: she first rolled over from her tummy to her back when she was 3 weeks and 3 days old. She has not rolled over in about a month now. I guess she is taking a break and focusing more on her lungs. Her legs are getting stronger. She will lock her knees and stand rigid for quite a few seconds. When she does this she looks like such a big baby. I can't believe how fast she is growing. She is able to follow us with her eyes but only if we are somewhat close.
Abby and Kate LOVE being around Ellie. Abby absolutely loves holding Ellie and does not care if she is crying her eyes out. Whenever I do take Ellie away from Abby to calm her down, Abby immediately asks for her back and sometimes fights me taking Ellie away from her in the first place.
Abby and Kate are playing sweetly together often. Right now they are in bed for the night and I can hear them singing with each other. Kate is singing about how God is good and that everybody loves God. It makes me smile how innocent and sweet she is. Abby just started singing the song about the alligator snapping the monkeys out of the tree and Kate has joined in on the song. I'm so glad they have each other as friends and sisters.
